Here in SoCal, I miss what spring looked like back east with crocuses breaking through the snow. The pussy willows, and all the different colors. Here, it looks like someone spilled purple paint along the highway. I think we determined it was phlox. The only other colors I notice are orange and yellow.
I miss the variety. Thank you for reminding me of it.

I love love love my bleeding hearts bush – it will be popping up soon. Also love lilacs and johnny jump ups. What about lily of the valley – my fave for their aroma!

All those are pretty! I like stargazer lillies, cala lillies, and gerberas the best.

I miss tulips! There are none here in Dubai.
Daffs are my favorite. Basically, I love all the flowers that have the guts to break through the cold of early spring!
