Daybook

If you want to join in, just go visit Peggy over at The Simple Woman, read the guidelines here and then add your name to Mr. Linky. So many other participants share their day, I’m sure you’ll enjoy looking through them!

Outside my Window… The clouds full of snow are still looming low and are much darker than normal. I think we’re still in for some more snow.
I am thinking… that the need to seriously concentrate on MY quality time with myself and accomplishing a specific goal each week as well as some of my UFOs (Unfinished Fabric Objects) to ease my sense of overwhelming worked well for the first week.
From the learning rooms…nothing this week.
I am thankful for…all the wonderful projects that hubby helped me accomplish this past week so that we can continue to move forward.
From the kitchen…For breakfast maple and brown sugar oatmeal with golden raisins and coffee for me, lunch will be out after bowling league and dinner will be Lemon Lime Pepper Chicken.
I am wearing…my favorite Levi’s and favorite purple henley T-shirt.
I am reading…The Potluck Catering Club by Linda Evans Shepherd and Eva Marie Everson
I am hoping…to finish painting the bathrooms this week
I am creating…a new mess while I continue sorting, reorganizing the quilting supplies trying to simplify the studio and donating as much as possible.
I am hearing…the last few percolations from the coffee pot YAY!! I need coffee!! As always!
Around the house… lots of projects that we’re finishing.

One of my favorite things…Is my quiet morning time with just my thoughts.

A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week… Projects, projects and more projects – all indoor!!
Here is the picture thought I am sharing with you…

This is the cutest little church in a nearby town with the population of 2. Church attendance well exceeds that number.

I loved your Daybook, Tamy. I hope to get one posted today.
That little church must be very old. Do you know much of its history to share?

Tamy –

My mom was using my computer and I didn;t realize when I wrote the comment above that she was still signed in so just to let you know, it was from me. I left you an award on MY blog.
