Is there really too much of a good thing?

In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day they take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would participate and take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.

If you’d like to participate, just post your own question on your blog and leave your link at An Island Life. Don’t forget to visit the other participants! It’s a great way to make new bloggy friends!

What is your favorite Italian Food/Sauce?

Zio’s makes this great artichoke/spinach pasta. I also love the chicken canneloni and chicken alfredo lasagna. At Olive Garden, I get Fettucine Alfredo. At Carrabba’s, I either get Pasta Carrabba or Steak Marsala. My favorite sauce is Alfredo, and I’ve even learned to make it at home.

My family has a red sauce with meat recipe from my great-great grandmother. She brought it with her from Italy when she brought my great grandfather and his brother to America through Ellis Island.

Her name is listed in the Statue of Liberty records along with the other immigrants that made their way over here during that time.

It takes over six hours to make and it’s so yummy! Great with pasta shells.

Truly any pasta dish to be honest (as long as there is no seafood involved) I recently had gnocci for the first time and it was GREAT!

I LOVE pasta. I could never do a low carb diet!! I like so many types, but some favorites would be manicotti, cheese ravioli, and lasagna (regular or veggie). I love both regular and whole wheat pastas, by the way.
