My last week’s post was of a Chicken Adobo and there I said that adobo is very common to Philippines, we can make adobo of many kinds. So here’s another one.
Ingredients:
2 bundles of kangkong (swamp cabbage)
2 tbsps. vinegar
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. finely chopped garlic
a dash of salt
2 tbsps. oil
5 tbsps soy sauce
1/4 cup chopped onions
Procedure:
Sauté garlic in oil until golden brown. Add onions. Turn to high heat and add kangkong. Spritz with vinegar while stir-frying. Add all other ingredients. That’s easy as can be.
***Instead of kangkong, you can instead use sitaw (yard beans), cut into 2 and half inch pieces or segidillas (winged beans) cut into 1cm. stars. Or any vegetable of your choice.
Sounds wonderful Pacey! I love meals like this – Mmmm good! 🙂
I love adobong kangkong! Good for digestion, too!
