HAPPY HOMEMAKER & MENU PLAN MONDAY week 36 of 2018

GOOD MORNING sweet ladies.  I’m so happy September is here!  That means fall is right around the corner along with PUMPKIN SPICE EVERYTHING! 😀 I hope you had a great weekend and are having a great holiday too!

Ours is quiet and we are getting some honey do’s done before we call our time here over.  Hubby replaced the hardware (wheels and guides) on the sliding screen door and I cleaned out the tracks with a toothbrush – the dust and dirt from the wind beats the door all up.  We watched the NASCAR races, did some pool time and binge watched some Jack Ryan on AMAZON too.

OUTSIDE MY WINDOW & THE WEATHER OUTSIDE & WHAT I’M WEARING – We’re still running in the triple digits, but we leave here in 2 weeks so I can handle anything at this point. 😀 It’s supposed to be a gym day, but with being a holiday we’re just doing pool time and avoiding the crowds at the gym so I’m wearing a swimsuit and cover up.

ON THE BREAKFAST PLATE – A banana and green tea with some honey nut cheerios

ON MY MIND / THINGS THAT ARE MAKING ME HAPPY

  • Fall is almost here and it’s my favorite season
  • It’s almost comfort food season full of soups, stews, cinnamon and spice 😀

FAVORITE PHOTO FROM THE CAMERA – From our trip to San Diego last week.  I’m working on a post for the rest of the pictures. We fit a lot into just a few days, so it is taking me a while to get them all edited.

Tiffany

Hi, I’m Tiffany for the blog ‘Live Large, Dream Big’
I am Sandra’s niece and thought I would stop by and take a look at some other blogs. 🙂

I also love fall and cannot wait for the weather to drop just that little bit and feel that cool, crisp air and I am so with you on the “Pumpkin Spice” everything! 🙂

I hope you have a great week ahead.

Sherry

It’s still in the 90s here, but that didn’t stop my from making some 2-ingredient pumpkin spice bagels and buying some pumpkin spice wax melts! Smells so good! C’mon fall!

Have a wonderful week!

Stacy

Okay, so I’m going to stop complaining about how hot it is since you are in triple digits! My husband has been wanting to give Jack Ryan a try, he has read some of the books and noticed that Jack Ryan is the guy from the Office, which he also liked haha! Maybe I’ll try it with him. Love your zoo pic and your menu looks amazing!!! Hope you cool down soon!

QuiltLady

Without giving anything away I will tell you that I like the Jack Ryan format for the season – no cliff hangers! With binge watching having a story conclude even if the character doesn’t was really nicec. Hope you had a great week.

Sandra

I still love Pumpkin everything, but I find that as I get older, I’m not as into it as I was hahah I do love this time of year though, and so glad to see the temperatures dropping.

Hope you have a great week ahead 🙂

Shellie

I am right there with you ! I can not wait for pumpkin spice everything and fall! I really enjoyed stopping by today! Your giraffe picture is amazing! Enjoy your pool time and have a blessed week!

Rebecca Knox

Yes! Yes! Yes! Pumpkin spice everything!!! Love the giraffe photo! Giraffe’s are such cool animals! Saw a newborn giraffe at the Kansas City Zoo one time and will never forget how soft and wrinkley and velvety this little nose looked. So precious! Have a blessed week ahead! <3

QuiltLady

Giraffes are my favorite – just something about their sleek gracefulness and their fur pattern that draws me in. Hope you had a GREAT week.

Jean

Love the giraffe photo! Such great animals. Do you like the Jack Ryan series? I’ve toyed with watching it but I’m not sure I can get past seeing the main character as Jim from The Office. Hope you have a wonderful week ahead!

QuiltLady

We binge watched the series and I loved it. What I really loved was that the season dealt with a single story that concluded with no cliffhangers for the next season besides that character himself. I never watched the office, but liked him in Jack Ryan. I hope you had a GREAT week too.
