Wish List Wednesday

The Baker’s Edge is about to release this awesome new pan. I don’t know about you, but I like the crispy edges of baked cheese on my lasagna. This will be a great pan!

We haven’t bought flatware in a number of years and really need a new set. I love this Oneida set from Overstock.com.

I don’t do formal dinners often, but would love to have a set of copper chargers for when I do. I love these hammered ones.

And just because I still want spring to eventually show up, I love this quit & shams for our room.

This week’s list is all about fun! Fun for me that is!

I love this Le Creuset porcelain enamel steel tea kettle with whistle so I don’t forget it!!

I love Abel skivers and used to make myself sick on them with fresh raspberry jam whenever we went to Solvang for the weekend. I have always wanted an pan of my own so I could make them at home and Sur La Table has a non-stick one that looks great.

Wish List on Wednesday

Lidded bread pan for everyday bread, a pie chain and this weight and volume scale from King Arthur Flour.

I love old fashioned egg beaters like this one from Chef’s Catalog. Mine is actaully an antique and still works, but barely.

I also love this splatter screen for preparing bacon. It seems expensive, but in stainless steel, it’s probably a once in a lifetime purchase.

My Wish List ~ Wednesday Wishes

So as I have been spring cleaning this week, I ran across numerous half finished projects from stained glass designs and bits of glass, stacks of mated fabric all the way to want to make recipes and so my wish list grows and grows.

Inland Glass Grinder is something I really need to get rid of all the bits and pieces of broken glass around here.
I love these quilts, Terry’s Flower Garden and Tuesday Garden Club by Hedgehog Quilts.

I love this jigsaw quilt pattern by Lehmann Quilting.

I really need a new Cuisinart food processor. This 7 cup is the perfect size. I have one that I received as a wedding present from a good friend and it gets used several times a week and has served me well.

I would realllllllllllly love this revolving bookcase from Levenger for reference materials near my work table.

My knives are a collection of hand me downs and a mish mosh of this and that brands. I received a paring knife and potato peeler as a gift a while back and fell in love with this brand and their craftsmanship. I would really love a complete set of CUTCO knives with their “FOREVER” guarantee.

Dream Showcase Wednesday Wishes

Wednesday Wishes is where I can showcase some dreams and desires for the little things AND the big ones too! This week I’ve been wishing for:

Nicole at Baking Bites recently reviewed the Beater Blade and this is an awesome tool for all the bakers in the world. I can’t wait to get one.

She wrote, “One of the biggest problems with a stand mixer is that the mixer blade does not reach all the way down to the bottom of the bowl, so you have to get out a spatula and mix your batter by hand. It’s only an annoyance because the beauty of a stand mixer is that it should be hands-free. Over the past several months, a number of companies have come out with mixer attachments that offer a solution to this problem, and Beater Blade is one of them.

Beater Blade looks like the regular paddle attachment for a mixer, but it has a flexible “wing” that reaches out from the paddle to the bottom of the bowl, so it scrapes the bowl with a soft blade that mixes efficiently without damaging your mixer. The company makes Beater Blades to fit all different styles and brands of electric mixers, including KitchenAid, Viking and DeLonghi, and all the Blades are dishwasher safe.”

We love pancakes and waffles around here, but waffle irons are a pan in the neck. At least they were. Being added to my list is the Pancake Waffle Pan by Nordic Ware offered over at Williams Sonoma.

Paint Shop Pro is another on my wish list. This falls into the I NEED category!! LOL okay so it falls into the I would really, really like category, but they blend together a lot of the time.

Our television is getting quite old and if we got rid of our satellite company we would lose signal completely after the switch over in June. This flat screen is what hubby would like. The Hitachi ultra thin.

Harrison Garden Quilt for Amber’s Room With the way the windows face east, the morning sun will make this quilt sparkle.

Rose Trellis Quilt for Kathryn’s Bedroom Pink is her favorite color so this is just the perfect accent for her room.

Thomasville Cinnamon Hill Dining Table Set I just love the old fashioned lines on this piece. It reminds me of Stickley or Greene & Greene architectural styles.
