2 pounds boneless pork chops cut into 1 inch pieces
2 tablespoons peanut oil
15 ounce can tomato sauce
1 large can crushed pineapple
2 cups sliced carrots
1 large Vidalia onion, wedged
1/2 cup Grandma’s molasses
2/3 cup Apple Cider vinegar
1/2 cup brown sugar
3 tablespoon tapioca beads
2 teaspoons paprika
2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons peanut oil
15 ounce can tomato sauce
1 large can crushed pineapple
2 cups sliced carrots
1 large Vidalia onion, wedged
1/2 cup Grandma’s molasses
2/3 cup Apple Cider vinegar
1/2 cup brown sugar
3 tablespoon tapioca beads
2 teaspoons paprika
2 teaspoon salt
- Heat peanut oil in a skillet.
- Brown the pork pieces.
- In your slow cooker whisk together the tomato sauce, molasses, vinegar, brown sugar, paprika and salt.
- Add carrots and onion wedges.
- Stir to coat well.
- Add browned pork pieces and stir until well coated.
- Cook on low 7-8 hours until meat is tender.
- Serve over rice or pasta.
