In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day they take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would participate and take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.
If you’d like to participate, just post your own question on your blog and leave your link at An Island Life. Don’t forget to visit the other participants! It’s a great way to make new bloggy friends!
Today’s question is:
Turkey, Ham or something else for Christmas?
This year turkey because my sister is hosting. It used to be ham. It’s also been pot luck, and once, enchiladas. Tex-mex is pretty common in Texas, particularly tamales for the Hispanic culture. I personally don’t care for them, but I love enchiladas.
I usually make Ham or Turkey but this year I am making Lasagna.

Something else….I am one of those crazy vegetarians. I’m really not crazy I just don’t eat meat.
Have a great weekend. I welcome you to stop by my blog and enter 2
gift-a-ways….”giftaways” are the new giveaways…like 40 is the new 30. 😀
Turkey!
Ham & cheese stratta. After that it’s leftovers ’cause Momma ain’t cooking! lol
Italian we do seafood christmas eve and then christmas is stuffed shells, sausage and peppers etc.
On Christmas, we’ve been having ham for the last few years and I’m really liking it!
well for me it’s turkey all the time! lol. but if i remember correctly usually at my parents house they do both turkey & ham for christmas, so it’s the best of both worlds!
Christmas eve we cook a gigantic ham at our house because usband loves them. Christmas is at father in laws and will be turkey and ham there. Can’t wait I have always wanted to try something different but family is too rich in tradition
My husband is anti-Turkey. Who knows why, he just says he doesn’t like the taste or texture. So we get to eat Both! Which makes me happy.
i hope everything.
we will be guest at hubby’s parents house. whatever MIL is serving is fine by us…
Chinese food! It is a Christmas tradition that hubby’s family and mine both did. It is where you find a lot of Jewish people 😉
Since we are home this year it will be ham. At my parents it’s usually leg of lamb or hangikjot (best spelling I can do in English)
