Aloha Friday

In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day they take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would participate and take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.

If you’d like to participate, just post your own question on your blog and leave your link at An Island Life. Don’t forget to visit the other participants! It’s a great way to make new bloggy friends!

Today’s question: What flavor jam/jelly do you eat on your toast? What is your favorite flavor overall?

I haven’t been able to eat grape jelly since I was a kid. It was the ONLY flavor I was allowed and I really outgrew it!! I can’t handle mixed fruit either. It never really tasted like anything, but a mass of jiggly stuff. I choose strawberry or blackberry usually. It seems like in the recent past EVERY restaurant I go to serves only grape or mixed fruit.

I like them all. Ussually I use grape (sorry) or mixed, but I loooove Apple, if I can find it!Apple Butter is my favorite! As long as it isnt orange marmalade-YUK!

Kari

My favorite is strawberry preserves(and I prefer the low-sugar or sugar-free). Have a happy weekend! I love your blog design, very pretty.

This is so funny because it was a pet peeve of mine growing up. My brother would only eat grape jelly. So that is all my mom bought our whole lives. When I got married and moved out I have never once bought grape jelly.

Usually always strawberry jam!

Fun question!

I prefer just butter on my toast but with PB and J sandwiches I like a tangy Strawberry Rhubarb…The one from Tastfully Simple is the best but kinda pricy to be a regular.

Aloha Tamy! You have the coolest things on your blog! I usually have either strawberry or raspberry preserves on my toast. We have a really great dairy that delivers here and I order it from them and it comes right to my door along with my milk.

I don’t like grape either… I hope you are doing something fun this weekend!

I am really not a big fan of jams -even though I worked for a summer making gourmet jams. But if I had to pick it would be Dutch Apple Pie jam – or good ol’ Strawberry Jam.
Have a good Friday!
