Welcome to Whitefish Point, Michigan on Lake Superior.
The lake does freeze over to an extent and the fishing
is limited to Indian tribes for subsistence.

I’ve never had the chance to visit Lake Superior. Now at least I have seen a little of it on your beautiful post. I have a great tolerance tor a lot more.

We were up to Mackinaw City last month…we had been up there before when the kids were young. Anyway, this time we sort of fell in love with your state. I love the first picture here and like the others, too.

All nice photos! I love the color in the first. I’m not sure I’d want to live in that kind of winter, but it makes for beautiful photos. I’ve visited before and that was fun, but I’m guessing spring would be like heaven!
