We are going to San Diego in a few weeks! woo hoo! Take the kids to Sea World, maybe the zoo.
We are thinking about a trip to Cozumel. We were looking at cruises, so that’s a maybe. Depends on what kind of deal we can get. We’ll take the kids to Schlitterbahn in New Braunfels in August.

Our daughter who is a high school junior won a scholarship to study in Washington, DC as a Presidential Scholar for a week this summer. We are pleased to put money out for her flight, but since work has been slow, I think we’ll do the ‘staycation’ this year. We live in such a beautiful, temperate climate, so that’s not a hardship at all!
I am petsitting currently which is like a mini-vacation you get paid for! Right when I am done I am going to Idaho and Colorado to visit with family! 🙂
Every 6 months we have to fly to Johns Hopkins in Baltimore for my son’s epilepsy appts. We live in Nebraska, so although Baltimore wouldn’t be my first vacation choice, that’s our vacation whether we like it or not. We’re taking our last trip (hopefully) next month. He’s been on a low carb diet for 20 months and has been seizure free since Dec 2007! So if his EEG’s normal he’s coming off the diet. Praise God!
We do several “wk-end” vacations of friends cabins etc. on the Bay, but right now, our only “big” vacation planned is to meet both our adult kids and my parents in Arkansas at their cabin on the White River – It will be a slice of heaven!!!
We have one week of vacation at the beginning of August. I think we’re going camping, but if the weather is bad we’ll be planning a “staycation” instead! The summer weather here in Alberta is not always very summer-ish!

well we already went to Florida (more of a spring time vacation) and then we are going to Texas in July. so yes we are going on vacation in the summer! I’m so crazy for going to Texas in July!
