Tismee 2 aka Gail has been a busy bee making her own award. She wanted to design something cheerful and smiley and used the drawing of herself that Alexander drew recently of her. A few tweaks here and there on photo shop and ‘voile’ she’d made an award. I am so honored to be one of the first group of recipients.

There are lots of blogs I too enjoy on a regular basis for a variety of reasons, but all of you make me smile and look forward to my next read.

We all blog for different reasons or maybe the same reasons, but we don’t always know it. When we run across a blog that SPEAKS to us, that’s when an award like this jumps out to present itself. There are several blogs I follow each day, so narrowing it down to just 5 blogs is hard so I’m going to break the rules also by re-tagging Diana to start with.

I would like to thank Tismee2 at Squared Off for this award. Like she said, it’s always a nice cozy feeling to know that you aren’t just rambling on to yourself and that maybe you are making someone’s day a little happier!

Thank you to all who have stumbled across my blog inadvertently or because they thought that 3 sides of crazy was the local asylum when they googled it. I too would like to thank my family who are the biggest source of almost all the content of my blog in one way or another.

This just makes me giddy all over to know that I made someone’s day a little brighter. My blog is my home away from home, the one thing I can control amidst the chaos of this remodel and household. It makes me feel happy to know you feel that way. Thank you again and I will pass it along to 5 more deserving blogs that make me feel giddy too, make me smile, make me dream with them and their pictures, I can’t wait to see what they’re up to, etc… I’ll try and do this so that we spread the wealth without a bunch of double tags.

This is such a beautiful award and the sentiment is so touching too. Each day when I pray, I ask God to grant me happiness. I figure that if I am happy, then all else is falling into place in my life. If I am happy, I am likely to be healthy, have enough food on the table at least for today, have at least my basic needs met. If I am happy, then all is well. Now it’s my turn to pay it forward!

When I think of trees, I think of my dad. He had a green thumb and loved all things outdoors. We would take countless trips to Mt. Pinos or Sequoia National Park just to see the trees.
