Aloha Friday ~

In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.

If you’d like to participate, just post your own question on your blog and leave your link at An Island Life. Don’t forget to visit the other participants! It’s a great way to make new bloggy friends!

Today’s question is:
Can you remember a time when your to do list
was smaller than your accomplishments list?

Another Fine Day in the Garden ~ A long time coming, but well worth the wait!

It’s been a long time coming this year, but well worth the wait.

One of the best things about these flowers is the fact that they are antiques and original to the yard for as long as anyone can remember. The house itself is 116 years old and in speaking with descendants from the area and of those that have lived in the house, I’ve been able to take the flowers back to at least 1948. I have yet to meet anyone that remembers before that or was related to the owners before that time, so who knows maybe they go back even further. I did dig them up last year and clean and split the bulbs the way HGTV suggested and they seem just as beautiful this year. I passed on the splits to my mom, cousin, Kathy and Barbara. Barbara says hers are about to bloom too.

Friday's Feast

Friday’s Feast is hosted by The Chef at Friday’s Feast

Appetizer~ If you could live on another continent for 1 year, which one would you choose? Antarctica ~ maybe that way I could finish a few projects without distractions.

Soup ~ Which browser do you use to surf the Internet? I used to use Netscape, but now I use Mozilla Firefox-Much better & faster

Salad ~ On a scale of 1-10 (with 10 being highest), how much do you know about the history of your country? I used to think about an 8, but as I get older it seems I learn something new everyday.

Main Course ~ Finish this sentence: Love is…Worth it

Dessert~ Have you ever been in or near a tornado? Yep as well as hurricanes, floods, fires and earthquakes. I’m done with natural disasters. SO, the cold of the North Woods is a welcome relief!
