QUESTION: Does your family still do Sunday family dinners? What’s for dinner this Sunday?

My son is still young so we always have family dinner at home. I don’t know yet what we’re having this Sunday but my hubby who does the cooking always prepares something nice for the family.

Growing up, we had a large family. 8 kids. Every Sunday after church, my dad was a pastor, we would come home and prepare the meal..then sit down at our long banquet table. I miss those days. Now with my husband and 2 little ones we usually have a nice little meal or go out to eat.

we do family dinner every night, but on the nights my hubby is home we have a much bigger dinner, because a lot of times he is working at nights, so we like to go all out when he is home and we all can eat together. With that said he is home Sunday night, but I am going out with a friend…opps!

Usually sundays dinners coincide with Browns games. So it’s always something hot and good and normally everyone is home.

This sunday my niece is being Christened, so NO COOKING for me!

My kiddos are still young enough that we do family dinner every night. Of course my grandmother would love if I would start to do a more traditional Friday night shabbat dinner for my kids.

Sunday – not sure what we are having. I am supposed to go away with a friend for the day to a yarn festival . . . health permitting.
