I hope everyone had a great weekend. Last week did NOT go as planned, so we’ll try again this week. I’ve been getting quite frustrated with ALL there is to still do and not getting there faster.

HOMEMAKING/COOKING TIP
I keep a small ramekin of apple cider vinegar on my drain board at ALL times. It attracts any of the gnats and/or fruit flies you may inadvertently bring home from the grocery store.
ON MY MIND
I have always felt that we give too much celebrity to sports figures for the sake of a sport. I have the utmost respect for those that use their celebrity for bigger and better things. The Walter Payton Man of The Year award (formerly known as the NFL Man of the year Award) is something that gets glossed over, but should really spotlight those that make an effort to make a difference like this year’s award winner, Anquan Boldin. We need more Warrick Dunns and Anquan Boldins for the youth of today to look up to emulate. A list of ALL winners since its inception in 1970 and its history can be found here.
THINGS THAT ARE MAKING ME HAPPY
- Sunny days and getting closer to having an atrium to spend sunny afternoons in reading
- Getting the paint off my arms and fingers

LOL it's getting to 60, but starts in the 30's so you don't really want to get out of bed. C.O.R.N. is clean out refrigerator night.

I would love temps in the 60's right now. Its cold this morning with a chilly 27! 7 up Steak, sounds intersting…. and I have to ask what is C.O.R.N.?
So far it's already a better week. I got 90% of today's list accomplished an a couple items from tomorrow's list so feel pretty good all in all. I've even visited all the HHM participants before bed on Monday so feeling pretty up to date!
I miss the snow, but not the low temps of the north. We were in the 60's here, but we had a high cold wind ALL day that made life a bit challenging.
HOpe this is a better week for you Sweetie!! Love your tip. But I really love your "on my mind" section and couldn't agree more!! I love that he won that honor too, as he does such wonderful works.

A week in the 60s sounds delightful! February is such a long winter month around here even though we've had an easy winter (so far), I am ready for spring and temps like that. Hope you have a wonderful week!
