In the midst of our home remodel these 2 declare boredom because it’s too cold to go outside. I wish they had thumbs, I’d give them paint brushes!!

Mom, no one will play with me!! He gets that same look no matter the season, inside or out! He’ll sit like this for hours. There’s only so much playing any of us can do in the house during the winter, but we do play ‘psuedo catch’ and fetch every morning. When Whiskey takes a toy to him, he’s no longer interested in playing. Fickle guy he is! Some of you will remember that this “used” to be my favorite chair. The only thing he’s ever chewed up was the cushion to this chair. I replaced it with the brown pillow and it’s now “HIS” chair. It’s hard to believe he’s an 80 pound dog when he curls up this small. This is where he sleeps every night and he stands and barks at me when I vacuum under the pillow!

Gunner’s new favorite place ~ on the super bed in front of the fireplace since Whiskey stole “HIS” chair. I just love how she sits with her paws so daintily out in front of her.

They eat like they don’t get fed twice a day, every day for the last 6+ years! They always choose the same bowl no matter what position they are in.

Mom we’re borrrrrrrrred!! Gunner will sit and whine and whimper until he gets his way, but the weather has still been so cold and snowy here that they just aren’t getting any decent outside time and are becoming super bored!!

I have never had a dog that uses pillows like Whiskey does. She’ll actually rearrange the couch with her snout until she’s comfortable.

Gunner and Whiskey are still looking for those damn apples – where’d they go anyway?

Both dogs are trained to go get into the bathtub on a single word command and they do so readily. Gunner just likes to bring his own towel.

A few days ago after the 2nd snow melted, I took the opportunity to rake up the last of the leaves and clean the backyard for the final time this year as we are expecting the 3rd snow this weekend.

These 2 goofballs still haven’t figured out that the apples only fall for a month each year and every time we let them out back run to the apple tree to find a fresh apple treat. Obviously they are disappointed most of the time.
