If you want to join in, just go visit Peggy over at The Simple Woman, read the guidelines here and then add your name to Mr. Linky. So many other participants share their day, I’m sure you’ll enjoy looking through them!

Monday #2/2009, January 12th

Outside my Window…The wind is blowing and the snow drifts are drifting under gray skies and a light snow.
I am thinking…
that the coffee better be ready soon!

From the learning rooms…
nothing this week.
I am thankful for…my wonderful loving hubby who is taking the time to help me finish so many of the indoor projects this past week as well as this one.
From the kitchen…we will have some blueberry banana crunch, apple rolls and some Texas Hash this week.
I am wearing…my favorite Levi’s and my Harley Davidson Kansas T-shirt
I am reading…The Quilter’s Kitchen by Jennifer Chiaverini & The Secret’s in the Sauce, The Potluck Catering Club by Linda Evans Shepherd and Eva Marie Everson
I am hoping…that we can finish this weeks projects efficiently and keep moving forward so that we can make an informed decision in the spring.
I am creating…a new quilt for the quilt hanger that goes up after the stairwell walls are done.
I am hearing…
the sweet sound of nothing! I love the quiet moments of the morning that I can call my own before this place comes to life!
Around the house… With the cold front approaching I do not plan to leave this house at all this week and our plans are to finish texture coating the walls in Amber’s room and the stairwell and getting it all painted.

One of my favorite things…Crossing lots of things off my many to do lists.

A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week… and reworking a few more recipes – having the oven on helps heat the kitchen.
Here is the picture thought I am sharing with you…

I see these trees regularly, but they never look the same. depending on the sun, the wind, the snow… Do you ever really wonder how awe inspiring the beauty of this world is?

I, too, love having the house to myself in the mornings before everyone gets up!

I enjoyed your daybook. Lucky you, getting to stay home all week!

Nothing feels quite as nice as seeing a list of things neatly crossed off. Well, coffee and chocolate are right up their, but still a done to-do is a pleasure.

Great daybook, thanks for sharing.

Good morning, Tamy. I enjoyed your daybook. I don’t know if I’ll get mine up this morning. This afternoon is busy because my mom has an appointment, then it will be time to whip up dinner for everyone. But I really enjoy this meme, so I’ll squeak it out somehow!

Have a great day!
