Good morning my friends. I’m so glad you are joining me in my corner of blogland. Pour a cup of coffee and grab a slice of my Lemon Blueberry coffee cake (the recipe will be posted next week) while we chat. This is going to be a super busy week to end March with. And Easter will be the topper.
I’m mostly recovered from my month away, but still dealing with a few issues I haven’t unpacked mentally yet. Some things after I’ve finished unpacking them will not see the light of day and for that I refer you to my inspiration category this week. 😀
It may be spring where you are, but here we’re still having mostly winter. Spring pops in for an hour here or there, but has yet to make a notable appearance. This week is full of rain with highs near 50°. So I have yet to put away flannels, turtlenecks and UGGs.

Easter is upon us so here are a few color combos that I’m in love with 😀
Oh, that lemon blueberry coffee cake looks delicious! Such beautiful peacock pictures! I remember long ago our zoo had peacocks that were just sort of loose and being a bit terrified of them (as a kid), they are pretty birds though. Our weather is also back and forth, my dresser is a mess of summer/spring/winter clothes right now (never put most the fall away either). Hope you have a wonderful rest of your week!

The peacock is glorious!
No early Spring here now. It had been amazing and so unseasonable wonderful for springime up here all March. And now we have 2 days of blizzarding in a row. Feet of snow! ugh Embracing it and staying cozy.
I hope you stay cozy too.
All set for Easter here other than a couple errands a groceries.

Thank you for saying that. I think since I’m reading on kindle also and it is so easy that I will switch tonight! I’m probably about 90-95% back into routine so I’m pretty happy about that. I think Easter this next weekend is what is throwing me off just a bit. Have a wonderful week too.
I’ve never stopped reading a book before either, but with my kindle I now have 25,000 books … so …. I have the chance to change if I don’t like… I think there have been 4 or 5 up to now that I didn’t read to the end.
