Be sure to join us for Happy Homemaker Monday and link up with our host, Sandra at Diary of a Stay at Home Mom
What can I say, it’s wet here and cold! Then again it is January in the Pacific Northwest during an El Nino year. As usual I’m wearing multiple layers and warm UGGS. I’m working at the “estate” house today so am wearing an extra layer and already looking forward to tomorrow when I can stay home in my yoga pants where it’s warm.
I’ve been really tired lately, but think it’s just because I got too cold while working and then couldn’t seem to warm up. I’m a little out of sorts trying to stay focused, but think that also has to do with the horribly cold, wet winter we’re having. I usually LOVE winter, but this year NOT so much! I think I’m in a rut 🙂 This too shall pass.

My Christmas cacti are still blooming and loving their spot in the east facing window.
After Christmas always more in a rut it seems but the days are getting longer and soon it’ll be less cold
Hello Beautiful!
Thanks for the Pack sympathy. Sure appreciate it! 🙂 We gave it a great go this season for how we started. I think we’re just going to get better! And yep, now it’s go Chiefs for Jean!! ❤️
I hope that winter warms up for you and you get to enjoy it more. Feel more like yourself.
I always love your inspirations and funnies – but I’m so with you on the definition of adventure! Lol And that pea can joke was a hoot.
Blessings on your week ahead Lady! xoxo
I laughed out love on the pecan and pea can! And back to drooling over the yummy food pics!! I’m waiting for all the shows to come back too! Have a great week!
Your Pecan photo made me laugh out loud! Our family is originally from Western NC, where it’s pronounced Pa-kahn. Now we are in Eastern NC, where everyone says they are “Pee-cans” Its a constant adjustment. Someone once said that the nut is a pee-can but the ice cream is a Pa-kahn because it’s fancier. LOL! I tend to say “Pee can” just because I’ve been here so long, but my husband is a firm Pacan kind of a guy lol!
I love that Christmas Cactus! It’s beautiful! I hope you can be cozy tomorrow, I agree I’ve frozen to death this winter and I’m usually hot all the time!
Have a beautiful week! It was so nice visiting your blog today!
Your Christmas cactus bloom is beautiful! I only had one bud on mine this year and then, I accidentally knocked it off while I was moving the plant. Sorry the estate sale isn’t working out the way you’d hoped. Pecan vs Pea can, so funny! We say pecan here as well. Hope you stay warm and dry. Have a wonderful week!
Cool has got us all snuggle up and being lazy. Enjoy the quiet time before it gets crazy.
